Présentation : Un épisode de plus dans la "saga Helloween". Roland Grapow (guitariste de son état) a rejoint ce dernier groupe en 1988 après le départ de Kai Hansen.
En 1997, entre deux tournées, Grapow enregistre son album solo The four seasons of life sur lequel il assure le chant. Un album dont le design est très inspiré de "Deutsche Grammophon". Il se fend même d'un duo avec Ralf Scheepers, ex Gamma ray, le groupe que Hansen a fondé après avoir quitté Helloween. (vous suivez ?)
Deux ans plus tard, sortira son second opus en solo mais il sera ensuite remercié par Helloween. Le restant du groupe estimant qu'il ne s'impliquait plus assez et privilégiait trop sa carrière solo.
Il fondera ensuite Masterplan avec le batteur de Helloween, viré lui aussi…
