La chanson "Get it" a été créée en 1957 par Bob Kelly & the Pikes, mais cet enregistrement ne sera diffusé qu'en 1998. C'est donc la version de Gene Vincent qui va populariser le titre.
La chanson sera adaptée en français, dès 1962, par Les Pirates avec Danny Logan sous l'intitulé "Entre toi et moi", mais c'est la version d'Eddy Mitchell, "C'est un piège", parue en 1974, qui est la plus connue.
En islandais, "Seðill" sera interprété par HLH flokkurinn.
Parmi les reprises figure celle des Spotnicks, celle de Wayne Fontana ou celle des Jaguars.
